2009 September 15 - Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic will be hosting its official Open House September 15th from 5pm -8pm. Cockrill Design & Planning staff will be positioned throughout the building to welcome visitors and answer any questions about the unique design.

2009 July 01 - Congratulations to Jennifer Akerman, Dianna Morelock, Richard Foster, Sean Martin, Ryan Olson, Margaux Verdera, and David Scott for becoming LEED Accredited Professionals. CDP has a strong commitment to designing healthy and sustainable architecture; two-thirds of our architectural staff are now LEED Accredited Professionals.

2009 June 16 - The East Tennessee State University Cardiology Clinical Office Building which opened its doors to patients in March, held an open house on June 16, 2009.

2009 May 28 - Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic's new facility in Dowell Springs opened its doors to patients on May 28th. The building features a large board room, sunlit physical therapy area, and space for the future expansion of the clinical exam functions.

2009 March 30 - Cockrill Design & Planning Chosen as New School Architect for Warren County School Board

Cockrill Design & Planning was chosen by the Warren County Board of Education from a field of six architects.

Earlier in March, the school board members narrowed the field of six architects down to two firms.

After the Thursday, March 26th final presentation to the Board, the vote was 5-0, with one abstention, in favor of Cockrill Design & Planning, whose main task will be to address the overcrowding of both Dibrell and Morrison Elementary Schools either through renovation or new buildings.

2008 August 20 - East Knoxville / Burlington Branch Public Library recently recieved a Excellence Award from the Metropolitan Planning Commission.

2007 May 10 - We Have Moved! After over 5 years in our location on Market Street, CDP has moved to its new location at 220 W. Jackson Avenue.

2007 April 26 - Welcome to CDP's new and improved website. After much development we are excited to see it launch. Please be patient and check back often as we continue to add content. And look for doors to open at our new office space @ 220 W. Jackson Ave on May 7th!
