The Frank Strang Senior Center had become so popular that the original County library building, built in the 1970’s, was unable to hold all of its activities. CDP set out to give the facility a new image that would reflect the modern, energetic people that gather there. A large outdoor terrace was added to welcome visitors. The expanded multipurpose room is airy and bright with a new wall of windows and 7,000 sf of open space. New space was built to allow for better bathrooms, a card room, a lounge, offices and storage. Activities ranging from computer classes and card games to ballroom dancing now have the benefit of all new lighting, interior finishes and an outdoor terrace.
