Comments were gathered from the citizens that would be using the new branch library over the course of several public meetings. From these, the design team developed a list of words that would guide the design process;

diversity | texture | convergence | equity | hi-tech | transformation | interaction

The library staff and county employees looked over the prototypical program in depth with CDP and decided to expand the size and scope of the meeting room and computer lab in order to fill pressing needs in the surrounding communities.
